Mandarin Ducks

Just think what these faithful birds can teach us,
Duck and drake paired for life faithfully,
So much for us fickle human's to learn about life and love.

Of course there is lot to be learned from these two birds if they are paired for life faithfully. This poem of yours reminds me of the video showing two male penguins fighting for a female penguin. One male penguin on the video is described as the home-wrecker and other as husband. The wife rejected her husband for the home-wrecker, and it is where the husband fought for what belongs to him and he won the fight and went back to his wife again. I really like you poem Tye, and thank you for sharing it with us.
