Mangrove Love Poem by Anthony Dover

Mangrove Love

Intertwined and divine,
The roots grow,
Supporting each other,
Through each tide.

There's no separating them,
Love forever grows together,
Impossible without each other,
There's no alternative.

Like the tree of life,
Branches belong,
In each others embrace,
A place beyond time.

The harder you try to escape her,
The tighter the roots grow,
So accept fate,
And let go.

Wildlife now nestles in my branches,
I have had my chances,
Solitude just didn't suit me,
And we understand all.

Love is cruel sometimes,
It enters in,
And never gives up,
Until you surrender.

So Xavier saviour,
Generational games,
I love you,
My life was never the same,
After I met you...
