Mankind Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Mankind

Rating: 5.0

Some people gaze
Up at the sky
See eagles soar
Wings spread wide

Others hear
The sounds of war
Bow their heads
Pray and cry

But, distance between
People can change
Need to work together
If not, it's a shame

The carnage and awe
Will always be the same
The killing has to stop
Only mankind is to blame
