Man Up Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Man Up

Man up, Man up.
I heard someone say.
It's being said,
Nearly every single day.

One outrage
And then another.
No help in sight.
Oh My, Oh Brother.

Man up, Man up.
Own what you did.
You took someone's life.
Then ran and hid.

Man up, Man up.
Please stop the killings.
Have you no soul,
No Love and no Feelings?

Man up, Man up.
Just a whisper in the wind.
So many dying.
In a city without friends.
