March Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

March

They pushed me away
from the procession.
And alone I walked
on a strange path.
Are you listening what I sing?
Fine, don't bother!
I tried hard to hide my face
but they noticed me
there am not in tune
in these marching dedicated
loyal, and with a scuffle
they pushed me away.
But, I kept on singing my
absurd song.
They were marching turning heads
to see me...trying to catch
the words of my song.
I wondered why they do tha!
but can see they're disturbed.
Strange it is, why
I've this compassion and
many feelings I don't understand
for those walking in the march,
while I faintly listen...they're
singing my tunes.
