Mask Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Mask

Rating: 4.5

From darkness to light
...to the colours.
Road the rays and
bumped to all brothers.
Mystery overflows day and night.
provoked heart took
a different flight.
Oh, my lovely galloping moments,
hold the storm in my breath.
You're not a blown myth.
This is what the story was
brothers, read it without pause.
Wearing a laughing mask
I paid the price.
Known a reckless stupid otherwise.
A sure fixed guest of honour
with a backdrop of an obscene banner.
This is, they said is a protocol
....futile to think after the fall.
They held the mask up and high
as flowers in bouquet slowly die.
