Marching By Night Poem by Nathan Vigil

Marching By Night

As the moon passes,
O’er the mountains;
It moves like the ninja.

Anubis guides souls
Using moonlight-I walk with
Them dressed in the black
Of night-march to the drumming-
Ninja enter by moonlight.

Necropolis is watched
By he- he who stands guard;
The moon watches
He who watches;
Be his mane: Anubis.

Anubis, thou who
Art without, come in to me-
The moon comes into
View- the eye of Horus’Ra
Always watching like ninja.

I march to the drumming,
Knowing Heaven and Hell wait,
Under these skies black,
Death on these roads walks with us.
