[marooned To Die] - Poem by Empath In flames

I stare out,
Onto the shore line
Gazing to the depths,
Into the eyes of a vicious sea…
I wrap myself into the scar tissue,
Of a cold, and violent breeze.
As the sun hides it’s face.
The smell of ecstasy,
How I yearn.
For the taste, once more…

For my salty lips to touch,
Your sweet and tender kiss…
I would travel through
A murderous storm
I would fight the current
To swim to you…

We aren’t so far apart,
Body, mind and soul.
Although it feels we’re trapped
In two dividing worlds.
You my psychically apparition of beauty.
And I your spiritual whole.

We will be together,
Once again…

~When dusk embraces
Your immortal end~

really very cool dude. I love the imagery. Isn't it amazing what women can do to us? Haha I'm sure you can see it in my writing. They are fodder for alot of poems, but I guess that's the beauty of love. Anyhow, i really like the beach descriptions, I could really picture it in this one. Great job (Report) Reply
