Marrakech: The Land Of Eldorado Poem by Gibran banhakeia

Marrakech: The Land Of Eldorado

In Marrakech, where sands and dreams entwine,
A land of beauty 'neath the sun's warm shine,
Once trembled beneath the Earth's great force,
An earthquake's mighty, devastating course.

But in the midst of chaos and despair,
The people found a leader who would care,
A king whose love for his land ran deep,
And through the night, his vigil he did keep.

With heart so noble, strong, and just,
He rallied people, in him they placed their trust,
To heal the wounds, to mend each broken heart,
Together, they would make a fresh start.

King of Morocco, we sing your praise,
For guiding us through those dark, uncertain days,
Your support and love, a beacon in the night,
Restored our hope, brought forth the light.

Through unity, we rose above the fray,
Rebuilding Marrakech in a brighter way,
With gratitude, we raise our voices high,
To the king who heard our plaintive cry.

So let this poem echo, near and far,
A heartfelt thank you, under the same star,
For in the face of trials and nature's test,
Morocco's king, we're forever blessed

In the heart of Morocco, Marrakech's soul,
Where ancient history and modern life do stroll,
The earthquake's fury, it did so unfold,
A city shattered, its stories left untold.

But in the face of this daunting plight,
Morocco's king, his people's guiding light,
With compassion in his eyes and strength in his hand,
He vowed to rebuild, to restore the land.

From the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara's embrace,
The king's support touched every corner and space,
Homes were rebuilt, and lives were restored,
In Marrakech, a city was once more adored.

With love for his people, unwavering and true,
The king's commitment, a bond that grew,
Together they faced each challenge and strife,
With hope and courage, they embraced life.

So, we extend our heartfelt praise,
To the king who led us through darkest days,
In Morocco's heart, he'll forever stand,
A leader, a friend, a helping hand.

In Marrakech, where the earth did shake,
A resilient spirit, for all our sake,
We thank the king for his unwavering love,
From the Atlas Mountains to the stars above.
