Martian Poetry Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Martian Poetry

Martian poetry

Not first time to get lost
Both grown and as child
But this time…

How easy was start…?
Reading book of Alice
“Two arsehole” strange
Did not know, I confess.

That took me to Martian
The poets and the card
And also the tied time
On the wrist, in the box.

I flew to Shamloo in Iran
His poem of same kind
“Who was first? ” A copy?
Or did they think the same?

Next unknown was Caxton
His birth-date not applied
Then thought of, West, Europe
So much fuss; Britain had nothing
‘Recuyell of the Historyes of Troye’.

Was French…but today…?

I recalled Blind Owl and lost-ness
On each page with each word
Who is who, connections?
This trail got me lost
From here to the Mars.
