Martin Luther King Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Martin Luther King

Rating: 5.0

They said, 'He is only an impractical visionary, '
And passed him by with a sneer or sneaky smile,
But his non violence rhetoric fashioned a dream
That made his life prominent and more worth while.

And who shall say he was always fantasying
Of a universal plan at an exceedingly rapid pace.
If, instead of creating an imposing, mighty bridge,
Martin Luther King reshaped the life of his race.
