Martyrdom Poem by Shafeeq C P

Martyrdom

Rating: 5.0

Let's go, you and I,
And die fighting injustice
In a distant land.

Let's die, you and I,
Shot by sharp bullets,
With oozing blood,
How sweeter that would be
Than dying suffocated
By this micro-organic virus
And your untouched body
Deposited into underground!

Let's die, you and I,
Better to die once
Than dying every day.

Let's go, you and I,
Though we do not know
Why should we go!

Let's go, you and I,
Though I don't know
Who is 'you' and 'I'!
