Martyrs Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Martyrs

When they brought
Our brave worriers...
Home dead and lifeless-
One hundred and thirty seven
Crores of Indians roared in shock
Bursting into a rain of bloody tears
In rage and fury of outrageousness-
We, the biggest democracy of the world
Believe and trust in peace and no war...
Yet, hurt and bleeding-heart issue a notice-
Against despotic China boycotting all its products
Swearing in, an oath paying a tribute to the Martyrs!
