Marwari Wife Poem by Sumita Jetley

Marwari Wife

In Jaipur's glow, a family's pride,
Shakti Exports, where values reside.
Rajendra's hands once built with care,
Each stitch a prayer, love in the air.

But time moved fast, and markets called,
The race for profit left them enthralled.
Machines replaced what hands once knew,
Shortcuts taken, the spirit withdrew.

Arjun sat, the weight in his chest,
Caught between growth and what's best.
Kavita spoke, her voice like balm,
"Return to roots, stay true, stay calm."

"Your father built this with his heart,
Not just for gain, but for a start.
Each fabric told a story true,
Of hands that crafted, skies that grew."

Arjun, torn, stared at the plate,
A simple meal, his father's fate.
"I've lost my way, " he whispered low,
"But now I see the path to go."

Back to the roots, the core, the ground,
Where values rise and truth is found.
No longer chasing speed or fame,
But building with heart, not just a name.

And in that shift, the world returned,
Customers saw the care they'd yearned.
Each product now, a work of grace,
In every thread, a soulful trace.

At the table, peace did bloom,
No more rush, no more gloom.
Chapatis soft, the dal just right,
A legacy renewed that night.

For in the end, it's not the race,
But staying true within your space.
Arjun's heart now light and free,
Shakti Exports, their legacy.
