Marzipan Aus Liebe Poem by Oone Tattered

Marzipan Aus Liebe

Scents of Paradise

Marzipan aus Liebe

Gray skies match my mood today
I strained to out run them, but for rain
That stony color captured the blue
On my forehead my brow furrowed

This offensive temperament jailed
Human, am I, yet different sensation
I let out a sigh, not wanting to be me
These struggling passions of insanity

In a meadow with sun and flowers
Scents that brighten a kingdom fare
Whisper, whisper, fly, fly to paradise
Dream, dream, and there you are

On my forehead my brow furrowed
That stony color captured the blue
I strained to out run them, but for rain
Gray skies match my mood today

These struggling passions of insanity
I let out a sigh, not wanting to be me
Human, am I, yet different a sensation
This offensive temperament jailed

Dream, dream and there you are
Whisper, whisper, fly, fly to paradise
Scents that bright a kingdom fare
In a meadow with sun and flowers
