Mascara Tears And Lipstick Stains Poem by Silence Dogood

Mascara Tears And Lipstick Stains

Remember our lives before the pain.
When we didnt cry or feel the blame.
When we could count our time on our fingertips.
When you new what flavor I wore on my lips.

When you called me beautiful and said I love you.
When we didnt tell a lie and everything was true.
Remember those days when I didnt shed a tear.
When you dieing before me was my only fear.

Remeber how the only pain was a scraped knee.
When we never kept a secret and shared everything.
Remember when mascara didnt run down my face.
When seeing your smile made my heart beat race.

Rememeber those days when we still loved eachother.
When we were faithful and had no secret lover.
Remember how it wasnt a dream but a fairytale.
When it wasnt love or my heart on sale.

When it was just you and me and our endless love.
When we believed that we came from above.
Remember those days 'cause they didnt last long.
We thought we were right but we were teribbly wrong.

And all we took from it were tear filled eyes.
Untold secrets and a web of lies.
And we thought it would never end.
We thought we'd atleast stay friends.

But I guess it wasnt meant to be.
Just a fairytale and a broken dream.
We were just two more hearts filled wih pain.
Mascara tears and lipstick stains.
