Masks Poem by Sam Randomson

Masks

Rating: 4.3

Everyone stands silently
All wearing the same mask
Ready to take on
The next stupid task

The all expect you
To join their side
To all think the same
So no feelings collide

You stand out of line
But they push you back in
They want you to change
So they can win

You take off the mask
And throw it on the ground
You’re so sick of them
Pushing you around

Ignore all the shouting
Them calling you back
You walk out the door
And start your own track
