Material Infatuation Poem by Blaine Strong

Material Infatuation

Rating: 4.0

Things I love
Fishing, hiking, nature,
Fast cars and big slow trucks
Stars of the universe so magnificent.
Long legs and bright red lips.
Sand on tan skin. Glistening with ocean air.
I love ancient oak trees and bright green grass.
The rows of corn Bright and bland, yet lacking imperfections.
I love looking into the soft touch of a women's eyes, I love the feeling of fingertips through my hair. The bright glow of a tropical hibiscus. Overgrown lots where business once flourished.
I love the forest in all its wonder and the creatures that inhabit them.
Most of all I love you.
