I am afraid I must present
news of his final decent.
We must bring ourselves in attune
with the loss of this guy known for a balloon.
He was bold and brave, not a softy
and had goals that were quite lofty.
All who are here and there mourn
this guy who was so often airborne.
He was far and above the rest of the crowd,
and a far seer when not obscured by cloud.
nothing could ever halt this dude
in his pursuit of altitude.
We are all missing and adoring
this man who’s reputation has been soaring.
