I may not be around,
To see such love,
Or to have comfort from you to me,

But I know how much you loved me,
And what I meant to you,
And for the love you gave was so warming,
For that I am grateful I met you,
Just cuz I am no longer here,
Don’t mean you can’t think of me,

Remember all the good times we shared,
And smile,
Don’t think of the bad things,
As I don’t want you sad,

Just be happy that I don’t need to suffer no-more,
I’m pain free,
And watching over you,
I’m being well looked after up here,

Just promise me,
You’ll keep hold of those memories,
And keep them near to heart,
And not to cry sad tears,
But to be happy,
And you will see me,
Again one day in time,

So please be happy,
And keep those happy memories near.
