May our flag keep on waving
As long as there's a soldier away from home
For there will never be any peace
Until they have turned over every stone
May our flag keep on waving
As long as freedom is in danger
May we find a helping hand
Coming from a total stranger
May our flag keep on waving
With the red, white and blue
May it bring peice of mind
to our troops as well as me and you
May our flag keep on waving
May it always flap out in the wind
May our soldiers soon come home
And bring all wars to an end
May our flag keep on waving
May it crack and may it snap
May it always be a reminder
For those that never made it back
May our flag keep on waving
May it always be a mental test
To keep reminding us forever
Of all those that have layed to rest
May our flag keep on waving
And be a symbol for the brave
And stand as our steady reminder
For all of those that gave
May our flag keep on waving
And our pledge of allegiance we keep
May we dream of a better life
Even in our dreams as we sleep
May our flag keep on waving
May it stand for our rights
For without hem we lose hope
And soon we'll lose our sights
May our flag keep on waving
May it wave at us and cheer
As we stand and salute it
Don't deny wiping away that tear
May our flag keep on waving
On every porch on everyday
For those that don't agree
Well it's time thy move away
May our flag keep on waving
May it wave in the morning light
And every time you see it
May it make your day more bright
May our flag keep on waving
May it fly high up in the air
May it show our troops how much
Each one of us really care
