Maybe Poem by Martin Holm Sjölin

Maybe

I'm sitting here and I begin to think.
Why is life so goddamn complicated?
I cannot understand why.
And when I think about it some more.
I notice.

That maybe life is simple.
Maybe it's just my brain that have to make it complicated.
Maybe it just needs a thrill from time to time.
And then it hits me.

Maybe, just maybe.
Me and my brain need a vacation.
And maybe, just maybe.
She can take me there.
To the land of my dreams.

Maybe we can fly high over the clouds.
Maybe it will be beautiful.
But just maybe.
I may crash in the darkness and never come again.

Can you Guide me through the darkness?
Help me see again?
That life maybe good, exciting.
And maybe we can all see.
The light in the end of the tunnel and still be happy.
