Maybe Instead Poem by Randy McClave

Maybe Instead

Maybe, I misjudged you
Maybe a little or maybe a lot
From what I saw and what I know
Maybe I did, or maybe not.
Maybe, in you I should had trusted
Maybe I should have that one last time,
But, in you I was totally disgusted
As you committed such a moral crime.
Maybe, I should had forgiven
Maybe, I should not had allowed that pain to last,
Who knows why my soul was driven
Maybe, Instead I should had forget about the past.
