Maybe This Time Poem by Berlyn E.

Maybe This Time

Rating: 5.0

Years of waiting for you seems to be short
Time is fleeting, our love seems to be just yesterday
I can't forget the moment you started to court
That I thought there was really forever and a day

All things changed when you left me hanging
No words, no actions to signal our ending
I was right there on our meeting place waiting
You never showed even a shadow lingering

Now you're back and you are still my world
You have moved on and our past you no longer hold
I was a fool keep waiting for you, hoping
That my life a fairy tale with you darling

Does destiny brought us again for second chance?
Or are we together to end the music we once dance?
Fate seems to be greedy of time to both of us
That even short glimpses of our love lasts
