Me And My Fern Poem by David Darbyshire

Me And My Fern

I’m so happy to be alone
As I dwell into the unknown
With my loving fern
Want nothing in return

The soft delicate patterns
Trumpeting forever outwards
Wide green arms of foliage
Reaping the shades rewards

Thirsty for rainy days
Hopes it seems to raise
From its calm I learn
At one with my fern
