Me And The Tree Poem by Mousumi Bhowmik

Me And The Tree

Me and the tree
***************
I see
The trees standings alone in the middle of the field -
Then I don't feel alone anymore
But feel more helpless than a tree.

Rootless, odorless life
Live the whole life waiting for someone even after dying so many times.
Stays awake spreading the empty palm of the hand into the world

Nothing is there   - only begging  door to door

It's better to live to be a tree.
