Me Like Horse Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Me Like Horse

Me, like horses

When I win the lottery, I will buy a racing horse
but not use it for that undignified purpose.
I will sit on a boulder and enjoy it grazing or just
hanging about, being a horse free of a harness.
At night I will take it the clean stable and we can
Talk, horses are great listeners they do not try to
Be smart like they know everything, just look at me
With big brown eyes and long eyelashes and enjoy
the simple life. But I will not be eccentric and sleep
In the stable as nightly company, I will buy a goat
To keep it company in case it wakes up and has had bad dreams.
This alternative poem has no merit whatsoever telling you
the writer like horses and tries spinning a story out of it
when the title tells it all.
