Me, Myself And I Poem by Aya Chehab

Me, Myself And I

Rating: 5.0

Who said I am perfect?
I'm not
And I love that about me
That's the best part in me
My imperfection has always been the best thing in me
And I am okay with that
I love my late nights
And my bad days
My wild rides
And my reaction to insignificant things
My calmness and my craziness
I love all of me
Because it's me
I love my interest in weird topics
I love my strong will
And my unbearable stubbornness
Even when I'm wrong I love it
Even when I'm right I love it
I love my independence
My insane thoughts
The way I think
The sound I make when I laugh
The way I care
The things I say
I love everything there is to love about me
And my flaws make me real
They remind me that that's who I am
I can't change that even if it is possible
I am cool with all of me
I am okay with me
I adore me
I will always love me no matter what
Because it's me
And that's all that matters
Me, myself and I

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The poem is about a girl that has been broken and mended many times. She reaches a point in her life where her self is much more important than anything else. She expresses how important she is in the poem. It is a reminder to whoever thinks that they are not worthy of love. They are loved by someone in this world. They are loved by themselves and that itself is vital.
