Me, Myself And I Poem by Danzel Ong

Me, Myself And I

Rating: 5.0

I am getting tired,
I am slowly losing myself,
It is so noisy in my head,

Wanting to make a change,
But no idea what to do,
No idea where to start,

I miss the child in me,
Back when life was carefree,
Back when all I cared,
Was having fun,

They can't see the pain,
The tears,
The suffering,
Just the smile,
Losing myself to please them,
Because I know,
What it's like to feel nothing,

My body leans slowly to me,
He was always there for me,
Where nobody would ever be,
Just listening,
His presence was more than enough,

I cried to him,
I'm sorry you have to go through this,
It was never my intention,
I'm sorry you want to live,
But I'm falling apart inside,

My body whispers softly to me,
Take all the time you need,
At the end of the day,
You matter more than I ever do,
Because I am you.
