Me Swims The Choppy Waters Of The Chinese Sea Poem by Louis Marvin

Me Swims The Choppy Waters Of The Chinese Sea

The Asian waters washed over me
from the day I stood on this shore
a billion.three can't be wrong
just overpowering to me and the world
yet, with such powers of persuasion
there comes an optimism that Tao/Confucianism/Buddha
can do this thing right for the world
it has surely helped me
it drowned some old folly and ill fated notions
so that this Phoenix could rise from a China Sea
and explode across the sky like Chinese fireworks
in the parade of the dragon at the New Moon's year celebration
