Meadow Lark Poem by Rich Harney

Meadow Lark

Rating: 5.0

I sat in a meadow
with a lark by the name
I ask him —
Dear fellow,
Have you laurels or fame?
His blase reply, but of course I do!
The bugs and the beetles
Dis' my fluting it too!
