Meanings change
with people.
You say
'It's not you
It's me'
But I know
It's me
Exactly.
You say
'let's forget
what happened'
But I know
It's me
you're forgetting.
You say
'Don't go on
changing'
But I know
It's this hint
of change
I'm missing.
But I say
If I can't act
as me
You'll know
I'm seeing you
differently.
Or so it seems.
