If you could see
The butterfly flap its wing
Leading to the tornado
If you could listen to crickets
Chirping in the night
Dispelling loneliness
If you could sit still
For a minute without the I
Holding me
I could see a future
A future for us
Lasting happiness
But you and I
are both blind
We are deaf together
with epileptic hearts
So you cannot see
And I cannot hear
That we are meant to be
