The allopathic doctor claims
that mainstream medicine aims
to be scientific and objective
in order to be highly effective.
However and ironically,
medicine in the process forgets
crucial aspects and debts,
that the secret for patient care
is caring for the patient.
In this most medicine is deficient.
Still medicine is a healing art,
it should work with an attending heart.
Expressing care, the desire to help
is effective when the doctor shows
optimism, sympathy, determination
and love: genuine compassion.
This insight swims in debates
but there exists firm scientific proof
that medicine's healing power abates
when the healer is cold and aloof.

I would like to translate this poem
In total agreement, Paul. Had it not been for the compassion of one of those 'good doctors', I would not be alive today.
