Meditating Saints Poem by Sumita Jetley

Meditating Saints

It's not just Simran! from the screen,
It's a calling felt, yet unseen.
"Simro Simran, sukh paavo" — they say,
In remembrance, peace finds its way.

Like dervishes, we sit, calm and still,
In humble pause, the soul fulfilled.
A cup of tea, a breath so light,
In quiet surrender, day meets night.

Sufi whispers and sacred chants,
Merging in one eternal dance.
As mantras float, the air alive,
Each word, each breath, helping us arrive.

The whirl stops here, yet we are whole,
The rhythm of stillness fills the soul.
In a space aglow, a living prayer,
We lose ourselves to find peace there.

We are not seeking; we simply be,
One with the silence, endlessly free.
