Melancholy Lullaby Poem by Carike Klokow

Melancholy Lullaby

I have no more tears to cry.
This is my melancholy lullaby
This heart of stone, made me alone
take away this greyscale tone.
As everything succumb to sh*t,
I realise that this is it!
My melancholy lullaby
will make a priest ask why.
If ever hearts unite so fast
shouldnt this be meant to last?
But this is now and im in pain,
this lullaby has strained my brain.
Turning back the minutes to
the time when i still loved you!
