Memento Mori - Poem by elysabeth faslund

Flame-blue puffs of sky
Kneeling Bene,
Bene,
Benediction memories...
Salvation gleaming...
Just as lies
Foretold you staying
Forever.

Rise! Rise! Rise my
Heart!
As flame within the
Lotus...
Then settle thorns,
untipped,
On ripples of
Benares
Blue...

As surely as you, giving
The mementos
Back...
And laughing into
Invisibility.
