Memoirs Of A Degree Student Poem by Jennifer Danger

Memoirs Of A Degree Student

I drive to maccas
To deaden the pain
I’m going insane
Because of my study.

I wish I had a buddy.
But there is noone
I never have fun
My life is over

I’ll jump off the cliffs of Dover
Or take a bunch of pills
I can’t pay the bills
I need a thirty cent cone.

I feel so alone.
I’m addicted to Coke.
I need a smoke.
I don’t know what to write!

Oh! An insight!
I send up a prayer
God really does care.
At least, I think He does.
