-memories; ; /3 Poem by Kasey Foley

-memories; ; /3

I can't scream, weep, or wail.
I should of known I would fail.
I'm letting go while I'm strong enough to.
I look away only to see you.
Your visions haunt me both day and night,
never with joy but always with fright.
Take me to where your darkness falls.
I see your ghost walk the halls.
Why suspense? Just let it be.
Kill me, take away these memories.
Strip me of them, thats all I ask.
I wish you wouldn't have passed.
I feel your arms around me tight.
My heartbeat stops, my face goes white.
