Memories Poem by Leon Jaime Villegas

Memories

Memories in time fleet- pain due leaves
Constraints no longer please
Cruel tales of yesterday bygone tomorrow
Nowadays all's misfortune
Dragged dreams by whirlwinds uncalled-for
Long gone all that past recall pest
Quiet surrounds
In the still of night our inner side pines ahead
Fruits of labor no more earned
A heart for desire craves
Worries vanish peace returns
A distant musical box wonderful notes play
Indifferent princess innumerable passions raised
A prince her hormones stirred in flames
What a night of countless desires met!
Dreams exhausted sparks burned
Embered-bodies turned red
Weary a time flies
In oblivion of memories
