Memories Poem by Rishi Kaashyap

Memories

Rating: 5.0

Memories haunt in your heart,
Haunt as patches.
They nudge your inside
Neglecting your outside
Patches stain
Patches remain.

Patches on your heart
Are not of any kind.
They fade or freeze
Melt or Mould…
Forming in a jiffy
They settle below,
deep below
For Patches stain
Patches remain…

Patches on your brain
Mostly ever remain.
They make you think,
But still can make you blink.
Patches here slowly stain
Patches here ever remain

Patches stain your heart or brain
Patches are ashes
For they are burnt smashes
Of thoughts of all stains
Still,
Patches stain
Patches Remain.

Patches corrode you
To powdery Rust
Patches mould you
To Golden idols
Patches are those
Which rinse your Soul
As,
Patches Stain
Patches Remain.
