Memories Poem by Jorge Arturo Valles Anguiano

Memories

Rating: 3.5

I remember those days when I used to love you,
when you used to lie at me by saying me that you loved me,
I remember those days when I used to think about you,
I remember those days when I was thinking you'll love me,
I remember those days we used to be romantic with each other,
I remember those days I gave you gifts.

I remember the day when all went bad,
I remember when we discussed,
I remember that it was an stupid reason,
I remember when I say a lie,
'I don't love you anymore'.

Now,
we're friends,
a part of you,
thinks that I hate you,
a part of you likes me,
a little part of me says,
'I'd like to forget that we never fought,
I'd like that we where still like brother and sister'
but the rest says,
'The best part of my life,
was with you,
we smiled,
we loved,
we lied,
we died'.
