Memories Poem by Renee Wangwe

Memories

I breathed you in
And you clung to
My soul like a
Million little paper
Cuts that never
Heal.

You are the stardust
Within me that burns
As it destroys me,
Seductively,
Horribly,
Carefully,
I am numb.

Even the universe won't let me forget you as I try to forget myself.
