Memories Now Gone Poem by Robert Sheridan

Memories Now Gone

No more white roses
No more 'our love song'
No more communications -
we no longer talk
No more making love -
we both sleep alone
No more missing you -
can't wait for you to leave
No more 'are you feeling
alright, wish you would die'
No more holding you -
can't stand touching you
No more laughter - has
now turned to tears
No more telling the truth -
it's much easier to lie
No more saying hello -
now I'm saying goodbye
No more memories -
they've all been swept away.
