Memories Of 67. Poem by Michael Cochrane

Memories Of 67.

A tale of triumph in a foreign land, Celtic where bold and grand!
In 67 they made their mark, the European cup, their shining spark that dazzling day beneath the Portuguese sky.
As a child I met with eyes of awe and glee, the Glasgow supporters, travelling home with songs of joy pure and bright, covered in green and white, memories of golden light etched in my heart.
