Memories Of You Poem by Lorraine Licona

Memories Of You

I can remember
like the passing clouds
that part
and allow the sun to shine through
a brilliant light which was a love we shared
How many nights after love
my tears would fall softly upon my pillow
as the emotions of your slender body
washed over me like a rolling tide
that swept me up and made me breathless
Sometimes I would drink in each moment
Each movement
in a effort to imprint it in my mind
so I could recall it after you had left
Each soft penetration
Your body moving slowly above me
Muscles rippling
I would cling to your strong shoulders
and pull you closer
Your lips on my breasts
sucking my strength
making my body tingle and shake
until I became yours completely
Surrendering to the feeling
Allowing the waves of love to wash over me
Your soft belly on mine
You would lay your head on my shoulder
and we would lie for so long
just feeling each others bodies
molded together
in perfect harmony
like a sweet song
Oh my love, I long to feel your love again
For even pictures cannot replace you
and the special love we shared
