Memories Written In Elegy Poem by Muzahidul Reza

Memories Written In Elegy

Rating: 5.0

When you were here in our enchanting nature
Near running ocean, flowing stream, murmuring river
Near our crystal lake, vast paradise, small bower
The open field and the open sky unite where,

I looked for you on no excuse to be near
Surrounded by trees, birds, fruits, flowers, creepers
Charmed in smell and color we felt loneliness no longer
Moments passed giving us something every hour;

Nature grows, nature changes every season
Everywhere seen welcoming and ending occasions,
We, human beings face the same
We are short lasting but our nature stays for long,

In this nature our forefathers lived
Played their roles, loved and fought to contribute,
They are no more here
And it is unknown whether they are remembered by nature;

In times and out of times storms raised
Being hesitated we would wait
Whether something valuable we lost and missed
After storms everything okay we got,

We thanked God in manners
As we did not lose and fall in dangers,
But the memories are written on unseen papers
And the scenes are captured on unseen banners;

At last the final storm came
I lost you from our nature in that cruel game,
Now you are too far, in our nature no more
Yet in the nature I am waiting for you once more,

Is it anyway, possible here?
People say our love has made me crazy
No, not here, not here, but hereafter
Where no ending of time and no one will be busy.
