Memory Poem by Troy Clark

Memory

It's hard to just sit around and watch
The world slowly turn itself to ash
And to feel so useless, because you can't
do a damn thing about it-but watch.

And that's not even the hardest part-
Memories, so bitter and sweet.
And you know! That one day-
All to soon
That, that's the only thing your
going to be able to hold unto.

And never, ever let go.
