Memory Lane Poem by sam's writings

Memory Lane

Let's take a trip down memory lane,
Hoping you'd come out of it a little less vain,
Buckle up and sit tight
Cause you're in for a fright

Remember how you had people convinced of our telepathy?
But all that ever existed was your apathy
Remember how we thought we'd be soul sisters
Exchanged lockets, and paper hearts but still ended up with blisters

I used to think that you made school fun
Now I try to count all the times you stood by me, turns out there are none
Deliberately left me out of conversations
Was it when you were discussing my imperfections?
