Menopausal Women Poem by Alexander Shaumyan

Menopausal Women

Menopause is the time that marks the end of your menstrual cycles. It's diagnosed after you've gone 12 months without a menstrual period.

A little puppy licked the face
Of its owner—
He knew that the storm
Was coming some time
In February—
Buckle up, patriots!

Nesara, gesara, samsara—
Your money is no good
Here, sir! —
So you can shove your
Bitcoin up your ass—
You can't even use
It to buy a cup of coffee—
And gold and silver
Are now obsolete.

You can't impeach a former
President any more
Than a dead man can vote—
But laws never stopped
You before.

You lie, you lie, you lie…
We always knew that the
Virus was a dud—
Long before you installed
Your demented puppet,
Who can't even form
A simple English sentence.

Your new world order,
Your reset is nothing
But a sham
As your impotent
Presidents, CEOs,
Your endless wars
And your celebrities.

Humanity has awakened
To the truth—
To the little men
Hiding behind the curtain,
And the wake up
Call was never easy.

So, you can laugh
At all the conspiracy
Theories,
That the world is just
Like you imagined it
On a giant TV screen
That tells you
How it's supposed to be—

But we turned you off
Long ago and
Embraced our own
Reality where you
Are nothing
But a bunch of
Clowns.
